Globe Celebrates National Teachers’ Month with Ongoing Support for Digital Education and Empowerment

Every year, National Teachers’ Month (September 5 to October 5) and National Teachers’ Day (October 5) serve as a heartfelt tribute to educators whose dedication shapes the future of our nation. Teachers play an essential role in guiding young minds, fostering growth, and building communities that value knowledge and compassion. This year, the celebration takes on even greater meaning as Globe continues to champion teacher empowerment and digital education under the advocacy theme, “Together 4 Teachers.”

Globe, a steadfast advocate for education, was recognized as a long-term partner of National Teachers’ Month for its consistent and meaningful contributions over the years. The company’s unwavering support highlights its deep commitment to helping teachers adapt to the demands of the digital age, ensuring that both educators and learners can thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Central to Globe’s advocacy is the Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP)—a flagship initiative designed to promote digital citizenship among students and educators. Since its launch in 2016, the program has provided free learning modules that focus on media literacy, responsible online behavior, and digital wellness. These materials equip teachers and students with the tools they need to navigate the online environment safely and responsibly.

To date, the Digital Thumbprint Program has reached nearly 2 million students and over 115,000 teachers nationwide. Through workshops, seminars, and digital training sessions, the program empowers teachers to become advocates of responsible digital practices and encourages them to integrate these values into their classrooms.

More than just a program, DTP represents Globe’s larger mission to bridge the digital divide and ensure that educators are not left behind in the fast-evolving landscape of education technology. By giving teachers access to digital literacy tools and resources, Globe helps them build more inclusive, informed, and future-ready learning environments.

As the country celebrates National Teachers’ Month and National Teachers’ Day, Globe’s message remains clear—teachers are at the heart of progress. Their guidance not only shapes young learners but also drives the nation toward a brighter, more connected future. Through continued collaboration and advocacy, Globe stands Together 4 Teachers—honoring their legacy while empowering them for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
