Arduino Day 2015

It has been a long time since I wrote something here on my blog and there has been a lot of happenings that I need to share with you guys since then. Last March, I was able to attend and event called "Arduino Day."

For me, this name is kind of different and quite interesting for it says a lot from the word "Arduino". The word itself depicts the mother board of a "Mobot" or a Motorized Robot. This name also implies to an open-source computer hardware and software company that can sense and control the physical world.

Being that said, the word "Being able to Control" is the main thing that Arduino do, and that is to run and control your own Mobot. A lot of people from all walks of life gathered in the 4th floor of the 6750 Building in Makati to celebrate "Arduino Day". There are also exhibits to which you can be able to see and operate 3D printers, mechanical cat, and other remote controlled robots that anyone that has a thing or two for these gadgets will surely be hooked up.

The event was headed by ThinkLab Training and Consultation: This ThinkLab Team is composed of Engineers,Faculty and Graduates from UP Diliman. They foster the R&D culture and cultivates technology and innovation in the country, that provides training, lectures and workshops in the fields of mechatronics, data acquisition and many other comprehensive topics.

The whole day event started with a registration a brief talk from the ThinkLab Team thanking all the attendees of the said event for making the Arduino Day 2015 successful.

A lot of demos and presentation followed after that, including some videos that showcases Arduino at work.
All in all, the event provided each and everyone a very insightful and meaningful day, that most of the the attendees will cherish in the years to come.
