Magical Weekends Return as Enchanted Kingdom Reopens on June 5, 2021

As the old saying goes, “it’s better late than never” and after more than two months of being closed because of the current pandemic situation, Enchanted Kingdom will finally be reopening its gates to its guests this coming Saturday, June 5, and every weekend thereafter.

Although classified as an “amusement park”, Enchanted Kingdom is also classified as an “outdoor tourist attraction” and accredited as a “tourism recreation center” by the Department of Tourism (DOT), Region IV-A, thus allowing it to operate at 30% capacity with strict adherence to minimum public health and safety guidelines.  In addition to the DOT endorsement, the City of Santa Rosa, through Honorable Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, issued a certification allowing EK to operate “its outdoor rides and tourist attractions at 30% capacity.  However, its indoor attractions are not allowed to operate at the moment”. 

Last year, Enchanted Kingdom was able to reopen its doors just in time for the start of its 25th-anniversary celebration.  EK’s reopening was a welcome respite from households and communities' crowded and confined surroundings and offered the alternative of a fresh and open-air environment amidst fun, laughter, and magical experiences.  EK was able to offer its guests a safe, healthy, and wholesome environment conducive to one’s physical and mental well-being. 

As Enchanted Kingdom reopens, our biggest 25th anniversary offering to our guests will also be ready to “spin” their way into everyone’s heart.  TWIN SPIN, a unique compact spinning coaster by world-famous manufacturer Mack Rides of Germany, looms large as one enters EK’s front gate area and will be ready to accept our brave and adventurous guests as they reenter our gates on June 5.  Vibrantly painted in glitzy pink, blue, and purple, after our Twin Princesses Victoria and Madeline and of course backstopped by Eldar the Wizard, respectively, every TWIN SPIN experience will be totally different from each other.  Be sure to make your reservations early, avail of our various promos, and be one of the first to experience the unique ride experience that is TWIN SPIN! 

Additionally, in line with EK’s continuous effort to offer more to its guests and patrons, even in these times, TWIN SPIN’s location together with DISK O MAGIC signals the opening of ELDAR’S VILLAGE, a new themed zone dedicated to EK’s whimsical and wise wizard and the story of Enchanted Kingdom with its twin princesses Princess Victoria and Princess Madeline.  Watch out for future developments in and around this new and magical land.
