Blockchain Council of the Philippines Unveils Plans for Web3 Adoption and Partnership with DICT at ‘The Launch Mixer’

The Blockchain Council of the Philippines (BCP) recently organized a highly successful event called The Launch Mixer at The Astbury in Orion, Makati City. The purpose of this event was to highlight BCP's efforts in driving Web3 adoption while sharing their plans and objectives for the future. BCP also announced a strategic partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), further emphasizing its commitment to advancing blockchain technology in the Philippines.

During The Launch Mixer, industry leaders and influential speakers came together to share their expertise and insights. Dr. Donald Lim, the Founding President of BCP, expressed the council's dedication to fostering an inclusive Web3 environment and their enthusiasm for collaborating with innovation leaders like Yield Guild Games (YGG) and MetaverseGo!. Their collective goal is to make Web3 education and upskilling activities readily available to all.

As a prelude to the main event, an engaging discussion called the Leaders Summit Journey took place, featuring community builders, startup companies, and notable industry entities such as MetaverseGo! and GCrypto. The Leaders Summit Journey aimed to stimulate thought-provoking conversations and set the stage for upcoming activities.

BCP unveiled an array of comprehensive plans and strategies designed to propel blockchain adoption in the Philippines. These initiatives include opening the council for membership, with the formal induction process scheduled to begin in the coming month. BCP aims to educate, engage, and collaborate with various stakeholders in the Philippine blockchain ecosystem, including government bodies, Web3 developers, businesses, civil society organizations, NGOs, and the Filipino population as a whole. The ultimate objective is to ensure the safe, secure, and responsible integration of blockchain technology into everyday lives.

The event not only provided valuable insights and networking opportunities but also underlined the commitment of BCP and its partners to shape the Web3 landscape, empower local communities, and drive grassroots programs for technological education. With the Philippines poised to become a leader in blockchain technology, BCP's sustained efforts to democratize Web3 knowledge and innovations will play a vital role in realizing this vision.
