Binance Intelligence Brings AI-Powered Finance to a New Generation of Users

Binance is taking another step toward making financial markets easier to understand and access with the launch of Binance Intelligence, a new AI product stack designed to help users understand financial information, develop strategies, and build AI-powered applications on Binance.

Unveiled during a livestreamed event featuring Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng and VP of Product Jeff Li, Binance Intelligence brings together three core products: Binance AI, Binance AI Pro, and Binance Agent OS. Together, they aim to bridge the knowledge gap between everyday users and experienced market professionals.

Making Financial Information Easier to Understand

Binance AI provides a free, adaptive experience that personalizes financial information according to a user's knowledge level and interests. Instead of requiring users to navigate multiple charts, news sources, research platforms, and on-chain data tools, the system brings relevant information together in one experience.

Features include an adaptive "For You" interface, AI-powered tool tips, personalized market briefs, market and portfolio widgets, and insights covering crypto, stocks, and macroeconomic developments. The AI-generated Market Brief is refreshed every four hours and can be delivered in text or audio.

Turning Ideas Into Strategies

For users looking to take a more active approach, Binance AI Pro functions as a finance-focused AI agent capable of turning natural-language instructions into visualized strategies and automated workflows.

Users can describe an idea such as monitoring their portfolio or exploring diversification across crypto and stocks. The system can then generate an editable workflow without requiring coding skills. Users can refine the strategy through conversation, test strategies through paper trading where available, and approve workflows before execution.

Importantly, users remain in control. Live strategies operate through dedicated sub-accounts funded manually by the user, helping limit an agent's ability to move funds independently.

Giving Developers the Tools to Build

The third component, Binance Agent OS, is designed for developers. The platform connects AI applications and agents with Binance's trading, market data, wallet, payment, and on-chain capabilities.

With support for APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, programmable payments, the Skill Hub, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), developers can create financial AI applications with configurable permissions and dedicated sub-accounts.

Together, these technologies represent Binance's broader vision of combining blockchain's accessibility with AI's ability to simplify complex information. As financial markets become increasingly connected, AI-powered tools could play a growing role in helping both newcomers and experienced users navigate the digital economy.

Enchanted Kingdom Marks Its 31st Anniversary With Enhanced AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY and a Night of OPM Music

Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines, renews its commitment to sustainability and biodiversity as it celebrates its 31st Anniversary with the second set of enhancements to its award-winning flying theater, AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY this October.

As a highlight of its Fiesta ng Saribuhay anniversary campaign, EK will continue to share more enchanting stories of Saribuhay through the attraction’s new and enhanced pre- and post-show experiences that showcase the rich biodiversity of the Philippines and reinforce its call for Filipinos to appreciate and take care of our environment.

Among the enhancements is Kwento ng Agila, an immersive walkthrough accessible upon entering the AGILA building. Through immersive visuals and storytelling, the new entry experience takes guests behind the scenes of the attraction, revealing its inspiration, the symbolism behind its architecture, and its development by an all-Filipino team.

Further along the walkthrough, guests will be introduced to the world of the Agila, or Philippine eagle, through a glimpse of its natural habitat and the various species that thrive within its ecosystem. It also traces the lifecycle of the Agila, highlighting its plight as one of the critically endangered birds in the world.

This builds on EK’s steadfast commitment to eagle conservation, earlier demonstrated by its adoption and continued support for the care and breeding of Enchanting Kagitingan, a male Philippine eagle, in partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation.

Additionally, the immersive experience extends beyond the atrium lobby, as augmented reality (AR) brings the landing queue leading to the Enchanted Forest to life through the guests’ smartphones.

EK has also given PUGAD, the attraction’s in-house concept store, a new direction as part of the AGILA improvements. The refreshed retail space will now incorporate an enchanting mix of entertainment and learning to encapsulate the overall AGILA experience.

The attraction’s existing facilities remain operational and accessible to all guests, while its newly updated areas will officially launch on October 17.

Almost a decade after its launch, AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY was reimagined in October 2025, placing renewed focus not only on tourism but also on sustainability and appreciation for the country’s natural heritage. It was later recognized as the Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction by the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) in January 2026.

EK celebrates its 31st Anniversary with Fiesta ng Saribuhay.

EK is all set to celebrate its 31st Anniversary as it releases more updates on its events, shows, and other offerings throughout October.

Following the announcement of its anniversary events in late August, the theme park has unveiled the complete lineup of performers at its Fiesta ng Saribuhay Concert on October 17 at the Spaceport Grounds. The spectacular night will showcase world-class Filipino music and talent through live performances by award-winning R&B hitmaker Dionela, 1Z Entertainment’s rising P-pop girl group XONARA, indie band Sacred Red, and other up-and-coming artists, alongside EK’s homegrown talents, SMS and Kingsmen.

The celebration will culminate in the Lipad ng Agila: A Pyromusical Fiesta, giving EK’s signature evening send-off a magical twist as vibrant pyrotechnic displays and symbolic imagery bring the spirit of the festivities to the night sky.

Every weekend in October, the EK Storyverse Characters will bring all the magic and excitement across the Park’s themed zones during the Fiesta ng Saribuhay Anniversary Parade. And on October 17, street dance performers will join in the parade as it serves as a festive prelude to the concert proper.

Meanwhile, Run to 31: Takbo ng Saribuhay, a fun run celebrating biodiversity through fitness and togetherness, will take place on October 11 in partnership with the United RSBS Boulevard Stakeholders Federation (URSF). Registration is now open at the EK Online Store, with 1.5K, 3K, and 5K routes available for interested participants.

SMS and Kingsmen will also mark the Park’s 31st Anniversary with new music. The P-pop girl group will release their rendition of Lipad, while the all-male vocal group has re-recorded a festive version of their song, Saribuhay. Both tracks will soon be available on all major streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, parkgoers can immerse themselves in other seasonal experiences at the Agila Grounds, including the Ube-Matcha Festival from October 14 to 18, which showcases the fusion of local flavors with other well-loved favorites, and Palarong Pinoy, a set of skill-based activities featuring traditional Filipino street games, launching just in time for the main anniversary festivities.

More in-park food options also await Filipinos as EK welcomes new tenant partners, with Minimelts launched in September and Mango Royal scheduled to open on October 3.

*Schedules are subject to change with prior notice.

SHDA Advances 7-Point Resolutions for More Responsive Housing Sector at 34th National Developers Convention

Bringing together over 400 stakeholders, including national policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, and industry leaders from September 16 to 17, the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) concluded its 34th National Developers Convention at Marquis Events Place in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Anchored on the theme "Elevate: Sustaining Progress through Collaboration and Strategic Housing Innovations," the two-day summit wrapped up with the adoption of a strategic 7-point resolution roadmap to accelerate housing delivery and foster a more responsive housing sector.

Formally presented by SHDA Corporate Secretary Atty. Mena R. Ojeda Jr., the Convention Resolutions outline key industry commitments: 1) sustaining engagement with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD); 2) strengthening ease of doing business and participation in Technical Working Groups for the Joint Memorandum Circular involving 15 agencies on housing permitting and licensing; 3) supporting digitization of government-to-government processes and land-titling computerization; 4) strengthening housing taxation efforts, including review of the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA) and land valuation; 5) enhancing collaboration for affordable and sustainable housing; 6) maximizing economic corridor opportunities alongside solid waste management, water, electricity, and connectivity requirements; and 7) pursuing new and innovative housing developments and interventions responsive to shifting social, economic, demographics, and housing preferences and demand.

These priorities reflected the convention’s discussions. Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog, Senior Economist at CRC Foundation Inc. and Associate Professor at the University of Asia & the Pacific, delivered a status report on the Collaborative Philippine Housing Roadmap 2025–2040, citing progress in streamlining developer permitting standards, with a mandatory 15-day service-level agreement for License to Sell approvals, zero-backlog initiative across regional offices, and 100% digital tracking for development permits, alongside other roadmap goals still underway. Bureau of Internal Revenue Deputy Commissioner Atty. Larry Barcelo discussed tax issuances and compliance requirements; Philippine Institute for Development Studies Vice President Dr. Marife Ballesteros examined housing affordability; and Colliers Philippines Research Director Joey Bondoc provided an outlook on the country’s property market beyond 2026.

An update from Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Deputy Director General for Operations, Undersecretary Dr. Lea Grace Salcedo, covered the presentation of JMC No. 1, s. 2026 under the National Effort for Harmonization of Efficient Measures of Inter-related Agencies (NEHEMIA) initiative, aimed at streamlining housing processes and supporting an electronic housing one-stop shop. Sessions also covered land acquisition and conversion, digital government services, 4PH project processes, and eNotarization, alongside discussions on the Luzon Economic Corridor, waste management, circular economy practices, and electricity solutions for communities.

Day 2 focused on market trends, design, and innovation. Philippine Survey Research Center Research Director Andrea Dizon shared findings showing that 61% of Filipinos who plan to purchase a house within the next 3 years prefer to live just outside the city. Location and accessibility remain top considerations, with 78% citing opportunity, while 57% prefer to live within 30 minutes' distance from family. The findings highlighted a primary home with location connected to the city corridor, accessible, in close proximity to family, and better space as factors shaping housing choices across generations.

Jacinto C. Ng Jr., Founder and Group Executive Officer of Joy~Nostalg Group | Raemulan Lands Inc., spoke on how synergy and enterprise can transform lives through NING*NING, creating the world’s first grid-connected, utility-scale solar rooftop installation integrated into a socialized housing community. Globe Telecom Vice President Abigail Cardino highlighted connectivity in modern homes and communities, while GIGIL Founding Partner Badong Abesamis and Plus 63 Co-Founder Dan Matutina explored creative strategy, design thinking, and connecting with the modern generation of homebuyers.

Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation Chief Operating Officer Enrique Manuel shared lessons from three decades of developing Bonifacio Global City, highlighting long-term planning, infrastructure, estate management, and the district’s next phase of smart-city, mobility, and sustainability initiatives. PGAA Creative Design Principal Architect Paulo Alcazaren traced the evolution of Philippine subdivision planning and examined more walkable, sustainable communities with greater emphasis on public spaces.

SHDA Chairman Engr. Francis Richmond Villegas emphasized that the convention's value extends beyond the discussions held during the two-day event. “A convention is only as good as what happens after it ends. These resolutions give our members, and the agencies we work with, something concrete to hold each other to,” he said.

Assistant Corporate Secretary and Convention Overall Chairperson Clarissa de Joya highlighted, “What stood out this year wasn't just how many agencies showed up; it was how specific their commitments were, from permitting reforms to a formal review of the property valuation law, while also bringing new perspectives on shifting consumer behavior. That clarity is what will actually move things for the housing community.”

National President Kerwin Padua likewise emphasized the importance of continuing the work initiated during the convention. “Two days of dialogue mean nothing if we don’t act on them. These resolutions are how we make sure this convention outlasts the days it happened in,” he said.

SHDA reaffirmed its commitment to continue collaborating with DHSUD and key government partners, with the Convention Resolutions serving as a guide for public- and private-sector stakeholders in shaping policy and program directions affecting housing development and delivery.

“Customer Is King:” PLDT Champions Customer-Centric Growth at ACC CXO Forum

Hong Kong – As enterprises accelerate their digital transformation journeys amid the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), PLDT Inc. underscored the importance of customer-centricity, strategic investment, and ecosystem partnerships in driving sustainable growth and long-term business resilience during the inaugural ACC CXO Forum in Hong Kong.

Led and organized by PLDT Global, the ACC CXO Forum in Hong Kong gathered international industry leaders, technology decision-makers, and enterprise executives to explore how organizations are rethinking investment priorities, modernizing infrastructure, and building resilient partnerships to create value in an increasingly digital economy.

For the PLDT Group, the discussion reflects the company's continuing evolution from a traditional telecommunications provider into an integrated digital services partner.

"Customer is king. The way we engage customers has evolved significantly over the years," said Leo I. Posadas, PLDT SVP and Treasurer and PLDT Global CFO. "Previously, customers managed separate relationships for connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital services. Today, we bring these together through a cohesive approach, creating one customer view and one integrated conversation."

This integrated engagement model supports the PLDT Group's broader commitment to helping organizations navigate increasingly complex technology environments while simplifying their transformation journeys.

"Going beyond the signal means delivering a full suite of capabilities that help customers achieve their business objectives," Posadas added. "Whether locally or globally, our focus remains on customer experience, customer choice, and customer success."

Procurement's evolving role as a growth enabler

A key theme from the forum was the changing role of procurement, which has evolved from a cost-management function into a strategic business enabler.

PLDT Chief Procurement Officer Louella F. Calixtro emphasized that organizations Today must evaluate suppliers based not only on price but also on their ability to contribute innovation, resilience, and long-term value.

"Procurement is no longer just about achieving savings. It is about shaping investment decisions, influencing where capital is deployed, and identifying partners that can help the organization create sustainable value," she said.

In an environment where supply chain disruptions and technology shifts have become increasingly common, building strong ecosystems has emerged as a strategic priority.

"The conversation has shifted from choosing the supplier with the lowest cost to identifying the partner that can support you throughout your business journey," Calixtro added. "The real measure of a partnership is not the contract itself, but how that partner behaves when challenges emerge."

She noted that resilient ecosystems help organizations maintain business continuity, accelerate innovation, and maximize returns on strategic investments.

Building the future through collaboration

The discussions at the ACC CXO Forum reinforced the importance of collaboration among enterprises, technology providers, and industry partners in shaping the future digital economy. And for the PLDT Group, this means continuing to evolve and serving as a trusted partner that enables growth, innovation, and resilience.

Taiwan Expo Returns to Manila After Generating $53.4 Million in Business Opportunities in 2025

MANILA, Philippines — Building on a 2025 edition that generated 53.4 million dollars in business opportunities and drew over 10,000 buyers, Taiwan Expo returns to the SMX Convention Center Manila from 17 to 19 September with more than 125 Taiwanese exhibitors across technology, sustainability, agriculture, healthcare, and lifestyle.

These Taiwanese enterprises will exhibit under a “National Team” banner, organized by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).

“Fifty-three million dollars in business opportunities showed us how much appetite there is in this market,” said James C. F. Huang, Chairman of TAITRA. “This year we want to build on that through joint ventures, licensing, and local assembly, so Taiwanese and Philippine companies are building together rather than simply trading. Our measure of success is how many of these connections are still producing value for both sides five years from now.”

The expo sits within a trade relationship that has been expanding steadily. Taiwan and the Philippines traded 6.71 billion dollars in goods in 2024, and bilateral trade rose 8.5 percent in the first seven months of 2025, lifting Taiwan from the Philippines’ eleventh-largest trading partner to its tenth.

Anchoring this year’s program is the Green & Innovation Showcase, which arrives at a moment when Philippine grid reliability and power costs remain live commercial concerns. Taiwanese exhibitors will present battery energy storage systems and hydrogen microgrids designed for island and off-grid deployment, technologies with direct application to the electrification of communities outside the Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao grids. Alongside them are certified green building insulation aimed at cutting cooling loads in Philippine commercial developments, AI-powered waste sorting systems for local government units facing rising landfill pressure, and fully biodegradable plant-based drinking straws produced at commercial scale.

The same practical logic runs through the Agritech & Food Pavilion, which addresses yield and labor constraints in Philippine agriculture. Autonomous Mobile Robots reduce dependence on manual field labor, while smart livestock environmental control systems target mortality losses in poultry and swine operations, a recurring cost pressure for Philippine producers. Taiwanese exporters will also present premium Phalaenopsis orchids, high-mountain teas, and specialty foods seeking Philippine distribution partners.

Where agritech tackles productivity on the ground, the Intelligent Technology Pavilion covers the digital layer above it, spanning the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), edge computing, and cybersecurity. Exhibits include collaborative robots for manufacturing lines, forklift safety systems for warehouse and logistics operators, and zero-trust cybersecurity frameworks aimed at Philippine enterprises operating under the Data Privacy Act and rising ransomware exposure.

Healthcare and consumer biotechnology follow in the Beauty & Wellness Pavilion, which combines biotech skincare with medical supplies. Exhibitors will present functional bio-electro devices, anti-counterfeiting technology for pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging, and complete lines of sterile surgical supplies and medical dressings for hospital procurement.

Rounding out the floor, the Premium Lifestyle Pavilion features rPET recycled fabric bags, electric vehicle safety blankets, micrometer towels, memory storage devices, smart wine aerators, and precision bathroom components, most seeking Philippine distributor and retail partners.

Queenpin veteran Nic Cancio expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, emphasizing that the tournament's greatest achievement was giving women's basketball the recognition it deserves. She also shared how competing challenged her both physically and mentally, inspiring her to trust her teammates and help them succeed throughout the tournament.

Montero Hoops Finally Reaches the Summit

The Men's Division Finals delivered one of the tournament's most memorable games as Montero Hoops edged Taho Story MFTG Corporation, 20-19, in a thrilling championship match.

Montero Hoops received Php 30,000 and the latest Vivo V70 smartphones, while Taho Story MFTG Corporation earned Php 20,000 and Vivo V70 FE units as first runner-up. Taho Story secured second runner-up honors with Php 15,000 and Vivo Y31d smartphones, while SMG Kings completed the winners' podium with Php 10,000 and Vivo Y05 devices.

For Montero Hoops player Jerick Fabian, winning the championship marked the fulfillment of years of dedication and perseverance. Having participated in the tournament annually, Fabian credited their success to consistent training, teamwork, and unwavering belief despite entering as underdogs.

Beyond crowning champions, the Vivo 3x3 Basketball Challenge Year 4 once again demonstrated Vivo's commitment to supporting Philippine basketball and nurturing local talent. By creating meaningful opportunities for athletes to compete and grow, the tournament continues to inspire the next generation of Filipino basketball players to pursue excellence both on and off the court. Fans who missed the action can still relive the excitement by watching the tournament's Semi-Finals and Grand Finals replay through Vivo Philippines' official social media channels.

Eastern Communications Highlights Digital Infrastructure as Driver of Regional Growth at CLICKCONEX 2026

NAGA CITY — Eastern Communications underscored the role of digital infrastructure in accelerating regional development during the 10th Convergence of Luzon ICT Champions Conference and Exhibit (CLICKCONEX) 2026.

Co-organized by the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), the Naga City Government, and the ICT Council of Bicol, the conference brought together leaders from government, industry, and the technology sector to discuss digital development and regional competitiveness.

The event featured a distinguished roster of keynote speakers, including Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, and Senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan.

As one of the conference’s keynote speakers, Eastern’s Chief Revenue and Innovation Officer, Edsel Paglinawan. Paglinawan discussed how telecommunications infrastructure has evolved from a basic utility into a strategic enabler of innovation, economic growth, and regional digital transformation.

In his presentation, "Beyond Connectivity: Telecommunications Infrastructure as the Growth Engine of Regional Economies," Paglinawan said a nation's progress has traditionally been measured through physical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, airports, and seaports that connect people and commerce. Today, he said, digital infrastructure has become equally critical, enabling the country to connect with the global economy and supporting innovation, productivity, and inclusive regional development.

“Whether it is building international connectivity, strengthening network resiliency, supporting hyperscaler investments, or enabling digital ecosystems, these require collaboration across the industry,” Paglinawan mentions.

As technology continues to evolve, telecommunications companies are the frontliners witnessing how digital infrastructure has transformed from a utility into a growth engine, enabling economic resilience and regional competitiveness. More than connecting people and businesses, telecommunications now empower innovation ecosystems, expand access to digital services, and create opportunities for communities to thrive. For Eastern Communications, the challenge is no longer proving the value of digital infrastructure but ensuring that its benefits are accessible to every Filipino.

“At Eastern Communications, we remain committed to being partners in that journey. Because beyond connectivity, our mission is to help build stronger regions, more competitive businesses, and a more digitally empowered Philippines,” said Paglinawan.

Eastern Communications continues to expand its digital infrastructure and ICT solutions to help businesses and communities accelerate digital transformation across the Philippines.

MARKETOUR Ignites Responsible Storytelling in Philippine Tourism

On June 11, 2026, the Bulwagang Balagtas at Polytechnic University of the Philippines — Manila became a hub for thoughtful conversation on the future of travel. MARKETOUR: Redefining Destinations Through Immersive Experiences, organized by the P1ONEERS Production, invited students and young professionals to rethink destination marketing and to place community, culture, and responsibility at the center of tourism narratives.

Spearheaded by project heads Ryjam Keanril T. Garcia, Mariella A. Orbeta, and Kevin N. Tubieron, MARKETOUR blended academic inquiry with real-world practice. The daylong program drew marketing and tourism students eager to learn how storytelling, cultural sensitivity, and creative strategy can transform ordinary places into meaningful experiences without exploiting their people or heritage. Keynote and panel speakers drove the event’s message home.

Creative directors Ms. Mica Dela Rosa and Mr. Caleb Cosico of BBDO Guerrero shared case studies from influential campaigns like Philippine Airlines Safetynovela and It’s More Fun in the Philippines. They emphasized that effective tourism marketing does not require sensationalism; rather, it succeeds when campaigns are rooted in genuine human connection and a respect for local contexts.

Their insights encouraged attendees to prioritize authenticity and responsible representation when developing campaigns. Digital storyteller and travel filmmaker Mr. Renzo Maano added a creator’s perspective, urging content producers to move beyond chasing virality. He underscored creators’ ethical duty to highlight the lives, voices, and traditions behind every destination, rather than reducing communities to mere backdrops. His field-based anecdotes offered practical guidance on how to balance engaging visuals with respectful narrative framing.

Adding a powerful voice on representation, Ms. Anna Carres De Mesa—Miss Tourism Worldwide 2026 and Miss World Philippines 2026 First Princess—spoke about the role of ambassadors and influencers in modeling culturally sensitive tourism promotion. Her remarks reinforced the event’s call to elevate community-led stories and to ensure that tourism amplifies, rather than erases, local identity.

The program was punctuated by dynamic performances that showcased Filipino artistry and enlivened the forum. Theatro Lumino Dance Company, singer Felicity Sasis, and the p-pop boy group BILIB delivered performances that complemented the event’s themes of culture and creativity, creating moments of emotional resonance between speakers and the audience.

MARKETOUR’s core advocacy—“Marketing with Purpose, Traveling for the Future”—challenged attendees to embrace a tourism practice that honors ecosystems, preserves heritage, and uplifts communities economically and culturally. Workshops and Q&A sessions equipped students with frameworks for ethically minded campaigns and actionable tips for community engagement, research, and co-creation.

By bringing together industry experts, creators, and aspiring marketers, MARKETOUR fostered a new generation of thoughtful storytellers committed to sustainable tourism. The event reminded participants that tourism’s true value lies not in likes or visitor counts but in the dignity and well-being of the people who call destinations home.

As the students return to classrooms and field projects, MARKETOUR’s message will continue to reverberate: when marketing is guided by integrity and respect, travel becomes an opportunity for meaningful exchange—one that preserves culture, supports communities, and ensures destinations remain vibrant for generations to come.

DECIPHER: Between the Lines, Beneath the Minds

Have you ever remembered something you were never consciously paying attention to?

A logo. A sound. A color. A feeling.

A signal buried beneath thousands of others.

Every day, we navigate systems of information designed to be seen, heard, and understood. Yet some of the most powerful messages are the ones that never announce themselves. They exist between frames, behind patterns, beneath conscious recognition—quietly shaping perception long before we realize they are there.

DECIPHER: Between the Lines, Beneath the Minds is an event by PUP Junior Marketing Executives that ventures beyond conventional advertising and into the hidden architecture of influence. Through the lenses of marketing, psychology, neuroscience, and consumer behavior, we investigate how brands engineer signals that operate beneath immediate awareness: sensory cues, emotional triggers, embedded associations, and subconscious mechanisms that guide human decision-making.

This discussion explores the coded systems that govern persuasion: the patterns consumers follow without noticing, the emotional pathways activated without instruction, and the subtle interventions that transform ordinary interactions into memorable experiences. We trace the signals hidden within design, language, sound, emotion, and experience to understand how brands communicate through channels that extend beyond conscious thought.

This June 19, 2026, at the PUP Theater, we invite you to step beyond the visible layer of marketing and enter the space where perception is engineered, attention is guided, and meaning is constructed beneath awareness.

In DECIPHER: Between the Lines, Beneath the Minds, nothing is accidental.

Every cue is intentional.

Every signal leaves a trace.

Every system tells a story.

The question is:

Can you read what was never meant to be seen?

What awaits behind the doors?

Signal Sessions

Interactive and insightful speeches from marketing, advertising, psychology, and neuroscience professionals exploring the mechanisms behind influence and perception.

Subliminal Marketing Academic Pillar

A series of informative postings explaining the theories, research, controversies, and ethical considerations surrounding subconscious persuasion.

Cipher Challenge

Interactive storytelling competitions that challenge participants to communicate messages through subtle cues, symbolism, and layered narratives.

Opportunity Pillar

Internship and career opportunities connecting future marketers with organizations shaping the next generation of communication.

Gear up to uncover the signals beneath the noise, the patterns beneath perception, and the systems beneath influence.

See beyond the obvious, Cyphers.

MARKETOUR: Redefining Destinations Through Immersive Experiences

PUP P1ONEERS Production presents MARKETOUR: Redefining Destinations Through Immersive Experiences. This academic and advocacy-driven event calls on future marketers and tourism leaders to help shape a more responsible, creative, and community-centered approach to destination promotion. More than a university program, MARKETOUR is a movement that affirms how storytelling, cultural understanding, and purposeful marketing can influence the way people see places, communities, and travel itself.

Through destination marketing discussions, immersive learning experiences, and advocacy-based competitions, MARKETOUR highlights the growing need to promote tourism with integrity and intention. The event brings together students, educators, industry professionals, and partner organizations at PUP Bulwagang Balagtas on June 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, creating a space where ideas about travel, branding, and community development can be explored in a more meaningful way. With the theme of “Marketing with Purpose, Traveling for the Future,” the event underscores the role of tourism not only as an economic driver but also as a platform for cultural preservation, sustainable growth, and inclusive opportunity.

At the heart of MARKETOUR is the belief that destinations are more than locations on a map. They are stories, identities, and lived experiences that deserve to be presented with care and authenticity. Through academic sessions, creative competitions, and collaborative activities, the event invites participants to look beyond surface-level promotion and instead consider how destination marketing can honor local heritage, support responsible tourism, and strengthen communities. The program also opens doors for networking, internships, and partnerships that can help students build their future in the tourism and marketing industries.

MARKETOUR is also aligned with key development goals that reflect its broader advocacy, particularly quality education, decent work and economic growth, sustainable communities, responsible consumption, and partnerships for shared progress. In this way, the event goes beyond discussion and becomes a call to action—encouraging participants to use their skills not just to attract attention, but to create lasting value for destinations and the people who live in them. Among the event’s featured activities are academic and non-academic competitions that challenge participants to think creatively and act strategically. These activities are designed to bring out the best in students while giving them a chance to apply what they have learned in class to real-world scenarios. More importantly, they reflect the spirit of

MARKETOUR: to turn ideas into action and learning into purpose. Trust, Technology, and Governance Take Focus at Future of Trust Leaders Forum

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Trust is the new infrastructure. As data, money, and identity move deeper into the digital world, systems have to be built to protect them. This will be the focus of Future of Trust: A Leaders Forum on Technology and Governance, the pre-opening event of Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW) 2026.

This invitation-only forum will gather senior leaders from the global technology ecosystem, the business community, and government agencies to discuss ways to address the challenges of the digital age through the establishment of trusted systems across finance, governance, and digital services.

"Every great economy is built on trust. What blockchain gives us is the infrastructure to make that trust verifiable, scalable, and impossible to fake,” said Management Association of the Philippines President, Donald Lim.

To answer how trust is built in a digital world, the forum organizes the conversation into three interconnected pillars. Technology lays the infrastructure through blockchain, digital identity, and AI governance. Governance sets the rules through the policies and frameworks that make digital systems legitimate and accountable. Lastly, Trust Economies show the stakes through the markets, capital, and ecosystems that rise or fall on whether trust can be verified and sustained.

The forum is an initiative of the country's leading emerging technology councils and organizations — the Global AI Council Philippines, the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, Cybersecurity Council of the Philippines, and Data Center Association of the Philippines — with support from Go Digital Philippines and other private organizations, bringing together the full breadth of expertise needed to move these conversations from dialogue into action.

These are not abstract concepts for the Philippines; they are already taking shape on the ground. Key government agencies, including the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Department of Information and Communications Technology, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Budget and Management, and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), are already embedding digital governance into their operations.

Two local government units have also gone live on blockchain, proving that this technology has moved well beyond the boardroom and into the hands of the communities it has always been meant to serve.

Future of Trust is a fitting opener for this year’s Philippine Blockchain Week – setting the tone for national and regional dialogue on meaningful and accessible digital transformation.

“Emerging technologies are reshaping how governments, businesses, and communities operate. The opportunity is immense, but so is the responsibility to create governance frameworks that ensure transparency, accountability, and meaningful safeguards for the public,” said Atty. Mark Gorriceta, Co-Founder and Trustee of the Blockchain Council of the Philippines and Go Digital Philippines Chair.

While Future of Trust is by-invitation-only, PBW 2026 ticket holders may secure their slot at this landmark forum.rite to info@pbw.ph to find out more.

Meanwhile, the Integrity Chain, a blockchain-powered transparency initiative, has completed its first phase with the DPWH and is now moving into its second, showing that blockchain as an anti-corruption infrastructure is no longer a theory but a reality.

Make and Mend! Ends Three-Episode Run with a Powerful Message on Sustainable Fashion

The three-part reality lifestyle program Make and Mend! officially concluded its production and airing run, leaving audiences with a renewed perspective on the relationship between sustainability and fashion. In its premiere episode, the show introduced a bold challenge that tasked three designers to create high-fashion runway ensembles using only secondhand materials sourced from local ukay shops. To raise the stakes further, each contestant had to stay within a strict five-hundred-peso budget. Stepping up to the challenge were Aivann Romero of Ateneo de Manila University, Ian Dave Allam of Far Eastern University, and Mary Joanne Ordoña of University of Santo Tomas.

Each designer entered the competition determined to demonstrate that sustainability and high fashion could coexist without compromising artistic vision. The competition went beyond the studio in the second episode, immersing viewers in the realities of Filipino commuting culture. The designers traveled to their chosen ukay-ukay locations by ordinary public transportation, with Aivann riding a tricycle to Bambang, Ian boarding a jeepney to Recto, and Joanne navigating the familiar streets of España on foot.

Meanwhile, inside the studio, hosts Danna and Cheki were joined by fashion consultant and CEO Ms. Marion Solon, whose expert insights guided viewers through the fast-paced and often overwhelming experience of thrift shopping. Despite the pressure and unpredictability of the hunt, all three contestants successfully gathered the materials they needed for the competition. For the show’s major design challenge, the contestants were instructed to interpret the theme “Peak Hours: What It Takes to Get There”. To critique the designers’ work, the program assembled a progressive panel of judges composed of Ms. Marion Solon, rising fashion designer Reese Latonio, and filmmaker and costume designer Cris Cao.

Reese Latonio recently debuted his namesake fashion label through his graduation collection, Sidlak, while Cris Cao built his creative foundation through his work with Project 8 Projects. Together, the panel evaluated how effectively the designers translated personal narratives into wearable art. The grand runway presentation served as the culmination of the competition, with every contestant unveiling pieces that reflected unique stories and perspectives. Aivann’s creation, Bound by the Rush, portrayed the suffocating nature of urban commuting through a constricting corset silhouette, distressed vertical lines inspired by railway tracks, and a clock-inspired handbag symbolizing the persistence required of daily commuters.

Her emotionally resonant presentation earned her the Runway Regal award for best stage presence. Ian secured the Haul of Fame award for his impressive collection of thrifted materials. His design paid tribute to provincial students who leave their hometowns to pursue opportunities in Manila.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional banga, his garment incorporated fading provincial tones to represent the sacrifices, struggles, and emotional weight of leaving behind his home in Santa Maria, Isabela. In the end, Joanne emerged as the competition’s overall winner, earning both the Mending Maestro award for technical excellence and the grand title of Most Iconic Ukay Royalty. Inspired by the utilitarian aesthetic of Renan Pacson, her modern Filipiniana ensemble utilized rigid denim fabrics to echo the exhaustion and discomfort of long commutes. Spiral accents symbolized endless rush-hour queues, eyelets represented overcrowded transportation systems, and authentic receipts highlighted the financial strain that accompanies everyday labor and travel.

Through its inventive challenges and emotionally grounded storytelling, Make and Mend! successfully reframed ukay-ukay culture as more than just an affordable shopping experience. The show positioned thrifting as a stylish, practical, and environmentally conscious response to the growing global sustainability crisis. At the end, M&M Studios delivered a compelling reminder that the future of fashion lies in sustainability, and that true style is defined not merely by appearance, but by purpose and intention.

GOAB and Symph.co Launch AI Implementation Masterclass in Makati

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries worldwide, many businesses are still struggling to move from AI discussions to real-world implementation. To help bridge this gap, Geeks On A Beach (GOAB) and Symph.co are launching the AI Implementation Masterclass: Bridging the Gap from Strategy to Execution on May 22, 2026, in Makati City.

The event is designed to help organizations move beyond AI hype and focus on practical execution. Unlike traditional conferences that concentrate on theories and trends, this five-hour intensive workshop will guide participants through actionable frameworks, live strategy sessions, and implementation planning that can be immediately applied to their businesses.

Leading the masterclass is Tim Santos, a globally recognized AI practitioner based in London. Santos currently serves as Director of Product at Graphcore, a leading innovator in AI hardware and advanced chip technology. As a UK-based Filipino and lead author of the Philippine AI Report 2025, Santos brings both international expertise and deep local insight into the evolving AI landscape in the Philippines.

According to Santos, implementing AI in the Philippines requires a localized approach rather than simply copying strategies from Silicon Valley. Drawing insights from 175 Philippine organizations included in the Philippine AI Report 2025, he aims to help Filipino businesses maximize AI adoption while building sustainable systems suited to the country’s unique business environment.

The masterclass will feature a structured three-phase sprint designed to provide participants with a clear roadmap toward AI adoption. The first phase will examine data-driven findings from the Philippine AI Report 2025 to better understand the local landscape. The second phase will involve a live strategy sprint using Large Language Models (LLMs) and proven frameworks to identify high-return AI use cases. Finally, participants will develop a practical 30-60-90-day roadmap that organizations can immediately execute after the workshop.

The organizers are encouraging “Strategic Duos” to attend the event. These pairs consist of a business decision-maker, such as a CEO or founder, alongside a technical executor, such as a CTO or product lead. This approach ensures that AI strategies are aligned both commercially and technically.

The masterclass will take place at Zero-Ten Park Manila Makati, a Japanese-founded co-working space located at the Frabelle Business Center in Legazpi Village, Makati City. Following the workshop, Santos will also conduct two exclusive 90-minute private advisory sessions for selected companies seeking deeper guidance on their AI strategies.

Interested participants may register through the official event page or contact hello@geeksonabeach.com for more information.

Philippine Blockchain Week 2026 Marks Shift from Web3 Potential to Real-World Deployment

MANILA, Philippines — The next phase of the digital economy will not be announced after the fact—it will take shape in real time at Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW) 2026.

From June 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, PBW 2026 returns with the theme “Decoded: Deployed.” This year’s event moves beyond theory to showcase how blockchain is already being used to power real systems—from finance and gaming to public infrastructure and digital identity.

If you have ever used a digital wallet, played an online game to earn, or questioned how public funds are tracked, you are already part of this shift. PBW 2026 is where you see where it goes next—and who is building it.

From “Decoded” to “Deployed”

PBW 2026 reflects the country’s transition from understanding blockchain to actively implementing it. What was once experimental is now being deployed—with growing relevance in transparency, accountability, and economic participation.

The event is expected to draw over 15,000 attendees, surpassing last year’s 11,000 participants and marking its largest gathering since its launch in 2022.

“PBW 2026 brings together the energy of a festival with the depth of a world-class conference. We're creating a full-spectrum experience, where business, culture, and community come together in one space,” said PBW President and Co-Founder Janelle Barretto.

Designed to be the most expansive PBW yet, the event brings together decision-makers, builders, creators, and communities across multiple touchpoints:

Here’s what to expect at PBW 2026:

Philippine Blockchain Leadership Forum
An invitation-only summit co-presented by the Blockchain Council of the Philippines (BCP), aligning leaders from government, finance, and global industry to shape policy, accelerate collaboration, and define blockchain’s role alongside AI and cybersecurity.

Alt+Tab Gaming & Music Festival
A high-energy cultural platform connecting blockchain to the next generation through gaming, esports, P-Pop, cosplay, and fandom-driven experiences.

Decoded: Deployed Main Conference
Where global thought leaders present real-world applications of blockchain—from financial inclusion to secure data ownership and beyond.

Innovation Expo
A hands-on look at Web3 in action, featuring fintech platforms, gaming ecosystems, and enterprise solutions already being deployed across the Philippines.

Also featured: Celebrity Bazaar, PBW Fight Night, hackathon, VC–startup matchmaking, after-parties, and curated networking events designed to turn conversations into partnerships.

The Philippines’ young, mobile-first population and deeply embedded gaming culture continue to position it as a key Web3 market. From play-to-earn ecosystems to digital asset platforms and emerging fintech solutions, blockchain is no longer niche—it is becoming part of everyday life.

Blockchain: A New Era of Digital Trust

As the Philippine digital economy accelerates, blockchain is moving from exploration to execution.

From transparency initiatives to policy proposals like the Citizen Access and Disclosure of Expenditures for National Accountability (CADENA) Act, both industry and government are beginning to operationalize the technology. Programs such as the BCP’s Integrity Chain further reflect this shift—exploring how blockchain can strengthen accountability in real-world settings.

At PBW 2026, this momentum converges—bringing together the people, platforms, and policies shaping what comes next.

“Blockchain is no longer just about potential—it’s about execution,”
said BCP Chairman and Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) President, Donald Lim. “What matters now is how we align efforts across industry and government to turn early use cases into systems that deliver real, lasting impact.”

This is not just another industry event—it is where the next wave of partnerships, products, and policies begins. If you are serious about being part of the digital economy, this is where you need to be—not after, but while it is happening.

Since its inception, PBW has evolved into a platform where ideas turn into action. For tickets and more information, visit https://pbw.ph/ or email info@pbw.ph

Make and Mend!: A Stylish Spin on Sustainable Fashion

Three fashion experts compete to transform thrifted finds into a confidence-boosting outfit for one deserving beneficiary—proving that sustainability can be creative, practical, and empowering.

Make and Mend! is an upcoming three-part reality lifestyle show that fuses fashion, sustainability, and storytelling into one engaging competition. Centered on a single beneficiary, the series follows three talented stylists as they design the perfect outfit for a meaningful upcoming event. Each episode builds toward a final runway reveal where both judges and the beneficiary select the winning look.

Rooted in the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, the show highlights the environmental impact of fast fashion while offering accessible alternatives. Instead of promoting constant consumption, Make and Mend! encourages viewers to embrace thrifting, repairing garments, and investing in long-lasting pieces. Sustainability is framed not as a daunting obligation, but as a series of small, achievable choices that can collectively make a difference.

The format unfolds across three stages: understanding the beneficiary’s style needs, consulting with a dermatologist and tailoring for expert insights, and sourcing materials from thrift stores before reconstructing them into fresh designs. This progression transforms the show into both a competition and a practical guide, offering viewers valuable lessons in garment construction and ethical fashion practices.

With its magazine-style structure, the program blends fast-paced thrift challenges, informative interviews, and creative montages into a cohesive narrative. The host plays a dynamic role—educator, interviewer, and runway announcer—ensuring a smooth and engaging viewing experience.

Targeted primarily at Gen Z and students, Make and Mend! also appeals to DIY enthusiasts and reality TV fans seeking feel-good, purpose-driven content. By combining high-energy entertainment with meaningful advocacy, the show redefines fashion as a force for creativity, responsibility, and positive change.
