Korean Suspense Thriller The Killing Vote Coming Exclusively to Prime Video

Singapore—July 17, 2023—Exciting news for suspense thriller enthusiasts! Prime Video has announced that The Killing Vote, a gripping series produced by Pan Entertainment and Studio S and broadcasted by SBS, will be available on Prime Video in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The series is set to premiere on Thursday, August 10, with the first two episodes dropping on the debut day and a new episode releasing every Thursday.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, The Killing Vote delves into the concept of justice as it explores a nationwide death penalty vote against heinous criminals. The storyline follows a mysterious figure who administers the death penalty based on the vote results and the relentless pursuit of the police.

The main cast boasts talented actors Park Hae-jin, Park Sung-woong, and Lim Ji-yeon. Park Hae-jin, known for his roles in From Now On, Showtime! and Kkondae Intern, will portray police team leader Kim Moo-chan, an exceptional officer who rapidly rose to the position of team leader. Park Sung-woong, seen in Unlock My Boss, takes on the role of Kwon Seok-joo, a man serving a prison sentence after taking revenge on the criminal who assaulted his 8-year-old daughter. Lim Ji-yeon, acclaimed for her performance in Lies Hidden in My Garden (also available on Prime Video), will play a lieutenant who was once the ace of the Cyber Investigation Team.

The Killing Vote joins Prime Video's extensive catalog, which includes popular shows and films like Ten Little Mistresses, Walang KaParis, Deleter, Cattleya Killer, and Fit Check.
