Vivo Philippines Unveils the X300 Series with Photography Masterclass by Jan Mayo

Vivo Philippines officially launched the highly anticipated Vivo X300 Series during an exclusive event at Shangri-La The Fort, BGC, on November 26, 2025. The highlight of the launch was an immersive photography masterclass led by renowned Filipino photographer Jan Mayo, who showcased the professional imaging capabilities of the Vivo X300 Pro.

The session gave attendees a close look at the X300 Pro’s cutting-edge 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and advanced stabilization system—features designed for users who want pro-grade photography in their pocket. Jan demonstrated how the device performs in real-world scenarios, addressing common challenges like long-distance shooting, motion capture, low-light situations, and tricky lighting conditions.

One of the most exciting parts of the masterclass featured host Nicole Cordoves as the model. Judged by Jan Mayo himself, the top finalists—Euden Valdez, Bryan Aliwalas, and Rica Virtucio—each showcased unique perspectives. Euden captured a beautifully framed moment through a glass panel. Bryan explored the interplay of shadow and light, while Rica patiently waited for the perfect alignment of railings, leaves, and a passing figure. Their entries were later uploaded to Vivo Philippines’ Facebook page for public voting, with the highest engagement winning a brand-new Vivo X300.

CALISTA Brings the Stage to Life

Adding energy to the event, P-Pop girl group CALISTA delivered dynamic performances of fan favorites like “Race Car,” “Oops My Bad,” “Don’t Have Time,” and “Alas Dose.” Their lively set allowed attendees to test the X300 Series’ capabilities in capturing fast-moving subjects, proving its strength in concert and live event photography.
