The search for the Philippines’ next generation of singing and dancing talent continues as LG Electronics Philippines brings the LG xboom Idol 2026 competition to different parts of the country. The latest leg took place in Bohol, where aspiring performers gathered to showcase their skills and compete for a chance to advance to the grand finals.
The Bohol leg attracted 50 registrants, all hoping to make their mark in the nationwide search for promising POP talent. Following the initial selection, 15 semi-finalists were chosen to compete in the Bohol competition, giving them an opportunity to perform in front of audiences and demonstrate their vocal and dance abilities.
Among the contestants, Contestant No. 7, Glessil Ann Tan, emerged as the standout performer and was named the LG xboom Idol 2026 Visayas Grand Finalist. Her achievement secured her place in the next stage of the competition, where she will represent the Visayas as she takes on other talented finalists from across the country.
The LG xboom Idol competition offers more than just recognition for aspiring performers. Grand finalists will compete for an exciting selection of prizes, including cash rewards, LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TVs, and a trip for two to Seoul, South Korea. The LG xboom Idol 2026 search is not stopping in Bohol. The next leg is scheduled for September 25 at Festive Walk Mall in Iloilo, where another group of aspiring singers and dancers will have the opportunity to compete for a place in the grand finals.
