PHILSME 2025 Wraps Up with Record-Breaking Attendance and Strong Support for SMEs

Pasay City, Philippines – The 16th Philippine SME Business Expo (PHILSME 2025) concluded its highly successful two-day run at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, reinforcing its reputation as the nation’s leading event for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

With over 20,000 pre-registered attendees and more than 180 local and international brands showcased, PHILSME 2025 delivered powerful opportunities for learning, networking, and business growth. The event served as a crucial platform for empowering Filipino entrepreneurs with accessible solutions and fresh strategies to help them scale and compete globally.

In the Philippines, MSMEs represent 99.5% of all business establishments, generate 63% of total employment, and contribute roughly 40% to the country’s GDP. PHILSME 2025 proudly celebrated this vital sector, offering a space where entrepreneurs could engage directly with industry leaders, service providers, and peers.

“We created PHILSME to guide SMEs toward practical, real-world business solutions—and this year, we witnessed powerful exchanges and partnerships take shape right on our expo floor,” said Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla, CEO and Managing Director of PHILSME. “Helping Filipino entrepreneurs scale their businesses isn’t just our mission—it’s our promise, and we’re only getting started.”

The event featured live demos, brand activations, and the PHILSME Business Conference, where top experts like Jayson Lo, RJ Ledesma, Kim Lato, and Chinkee Tan offered valuable insights into leadership, innovation, branding, and growth. Corporate leaders, including GCash for Business, Cignal TV Inc., and JRS Dynamics Info Solutions Corp, also shared solutions tailored for SMEs.

A notable highlight was the Special Malaysian Pavilion by MATRADE, encouraging cross-border partnerships and regional business opportunities. Meanwhile, the PHILSME Business Network honored its newest members with a special certificate awarding, underscoring the expo’s commitment to community-building and long-term support for entrepreneurs.

Backed by Platinum, Gold, and Silver sponsors, the expo delivered unparalleled value to all participants and confirmed its essential role in driving the Philippine SME sector forward.

PHILSME will return in October 2025 at the SM Megatrade Hall, this time with a spotlight on entrepreneurs and startups.
