At CES 2026, LG Electronics unveiled LG Sound Suite, a next-generation home audio solution built around the world’s first soundbar system powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. Designed to eliminate the complexity of traditional surround sound setups, the new system delivers flexible, immersive audio without the need for precise speaker placement or complicated installation.
At the center of the system is the LG H7 soundbar, engineered to automatically adapt Dolby Atmos audio to a room’s layout. Instead of requiring symmetrical speaker positioning, the H7 intelligently optimizes sound performance based on how and where speakers are placed. This flexibility allows users to position speakers freely while still experiencing immersive, multidimensional audio.
LG Sound Suite introduces a wireless, modular ecosystem that can be customized to suit different needs and spaces. Users can start with a standalone H7 soundbar and gradually expand their setup by adding optional surround speakers and a subwoofer. The system supports up to 27 different configurations, with scalability reaching an expansive 13.1.7-channel home theater arrangement. This modular approach makes it accessible for a range of budgets while future-proofing the investment.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect plays a central role in the system’s adaptability. It intelligently optimizes audio performance based on speaker placement, ensuring that immersive sound is maintained even when speakers are not positioned conventionally. LG also announced plans to integrate Dolby Atmos FlexConnect support into its 2026 premium TVs, as well as select 2025 models via a future software update, significantly expanding compatibility across its television lineup.
The Sound Suite also incorporates Sound Follow, a feature powered by ultra-wideband technology that dynamically adjusts the listening sweet spot based on the user’s location in the room. This creates a more personalized and consistent audio experience, even as the listener moves around.
Room Calibration Pro further enhances performance using AI processing to analyze room acoustics and fine-tune audio output. The H7 soundbar is driven by LG’s α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3, enabling advanced features such as spatial up-mixing, object separation, and content-aware optimization.
All components in the LG Sound Suite are equipped with premium Peerless speaker units, combining high-end craftsmanship with LG and Dolby technologies to deliver powerful, room-filling sound tailored to modern living spaces.
