LG Electronics Philippines Strengthens Sustainability Push with 1,200 Kilograms of E-Waste Collected for Earth Day Initiative

In celebration of Earth Day, LG Electronics Philippines reinforced its commitment to environmental responsibility by collecting approximately 1,200 kilograms of electronic waste (e-waste) between March 31 and April 21. The initiative highlights the company’s proactive role in promoting sustainable waste management practices and raising awareness about the importance of proper electronic disposal.

Electronic waste remains one of the fastest-growing waste streams globally, making responsible collection and recycling efforts increasingly essential. All collected e-waste was safely turned over to an accredited hazardous waste management facility, ensuring that the materials were handled according to environmental safety standards.
