VITRO Inc. and 8990 Housing Development Corporation Strengthen Partnership to Power Resilient, Always-On Operations

VITRO Inc., the data center arm of the PLDT Group, part of PLDT Enterprise, the Group’s corporate business arm, strengthened its partnership with 8990 Housing Development Corporation (HDC) by supporting the company’s IT Infrastructure project to ensure continued growth and operations.

A major subsidiary of 8990 Holdings, Inc., 8990 HDC is widely recognized for delivering accessible homeownership to Filipino families through its flagship brands, Deca Homes and Urban Deca Homes. As the company continues to expand its nationwide footprint, ensuring uninterrupted access to its critical systems has become a top priority.

Since 2019, 8990 HDC has partnered with VITRO Inc. to host its Real Estate ERP and Document Management Systems at the VITRO Cebu. Building on this foundation, the company expanded to VITRO Makati 2 in 2025, where its systems are housed to support robust business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR). With all sales offices nationwide directly connected to its systems collocated in VITRO, this setup ensures seamless operations, real-time data access, and high availability across the organization.

Notably, 8990 HDC’s systems remained fully operational during major disruptions, including Typhoon Odette and multiple earthquakes across the Visayas and Mindanao regions in 2025, underscoring the strength of its digital infrastructure strategy.
