COLORFUL Refreshes BATTLE-AX Motherboard Series with Wi-Fi 7 and Next-Gen Performance Options

Shenzhen, China Colorful Technology Company Limited has officially unveiled its refreshed BATTLE-AX motherboard series, introducing upgraded connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 support alongside enhanced power delivery and improved usability features for modern PC builders. The updated lineup includes two models: the BATTLE-AX B860M-PLUS S WIFI7 and the B760M-PLUS S WIFI7, designed to serve both next-generation platforms and value-focused upgrades.

Leading the refresh is the B860M-PLUS S WIFI7, engineered for the latest Intel Core Ultra 200S series processors and optimized for users building forward-looking systems with DDR5 memory support. The motherboard features a 10+1+1+1 phase 60A DrMOS power design, ensuring stable and efficient power delivery during demanding workloads such as gaming and content creation.

Storage flexibility is another highlight, with three M.2 slots, including one PCIe 5.0 x4 slot, plus four SATA ports for additional drives. Connectivity is equally strong, offering 5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7, multiple USB Type-A and Type-C ports, and support for DDR5 memory speeds up to 8800 MT/s (OC). The board also includes tool-free GPU quick-release and M.2 heatsink mechanisms, making upgrades easier—especially for first-time builders.

Meanwhile, the B760M-PLUS S WIFI7 targets users upgrading existing systems who prefer a more cost-efficient configuration using DDR4 memory. Compatible with Intel 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Core processors, the motherboard features a robust 12+1+1 phase 60A DrMOS design for reliable performance even when paired with high-end CPUs like the Core i7-14700K.

The B760M model also supports next-generation graphics cards through its reinforced PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, making it ready for upcoming GPU releases. It includes three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots with full-coverage heatsinks, ensuring stable storage performance during extended workloads such as gaming, streaming, and multitasking.

Both motherboards benefit from the addition of Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, delivering lower latency, faster throughput, and improved stability compared to previous wireless standards. This makes them well-suited for modern gaming setups and high-bandwidth online applications.

With support for both DDR5-based next-gen builds and DDR4 upgrade paths, the refreshed BATTLE-AX lineup provides flexible options for a wide range of PC users. Pricing and availability will vary by region, and interested buyers are encouraged to contact their local COLORFUL representatives for further details.
