HUAWEI is preparing to redefine affordable wireless audio in the Philippines with the upcoming launch of the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX, offering flagship-level Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), impressive sound quality, and up to 80 hours of total battery life for less than PHP 3,000.
Designed for users who want premium audio features without the premium price tag, the new earbuds combine minimalist aesthetics with practical technology. Available in White, Black, and Blue, the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX features a semi-transparent charging case with a pearl-like matte finish, delivering a stylish and modern look.
One of its biggest highlights is its 80-hour total battery life when used with the charging case. For users constantly on the move, this means fewer charging interruptions during daily commutes, work meetings, and travel. A quick 10-minute charge also provides up to four hours of playback, making it convenient for people with busy schedules.
The earbuds also feature up to 52dB Active Noise Cancellation, powered by Dynamic 3 Multi-Mode AI Noise Cancellation. Its Ultra, Medium, and Cosy modes automatically adapt to different environments, helping users minimize distractions whether commuting on public transportation, working in a busy café, or studying in a library.
Call quality receives equal attention through its six-microphone AI Call Noise Cancellation system and wind noise resistance, helping isolate voices during conversations in noisy surroundings.
Comfort and sound performance are also central to the experience. Each earbud weighs just 4.3 grams and comes with three sizes of silicone ear tips. Meanwhile, LDAC technology, 4K-Level Hi-Res audio, and 10mm dynamic drivers aim to deliver detailed sound with richer bass.
Additional features include Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device connectivity, Android and iOS compatibility, customizable settings through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app, and IP55 dust and water resistance.
HUAWEI is also including a one-year Loss Care service, allowing customers to purchase a genuine replacement earbud at 50% off the original price if one is accidentally lost or damaged, subject to the service terms.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX will launch in the Philippines with a special promotional price of PHP 1,999, reduced from its original PHP 2,999 price. TikTok-exclusive early access begins November 8, 2026, at 12 AM, followed by availability on Shopee, Lazada, and the HUAWEI Online Store starting November 10 at 12 PM.
With its combination of extended battery life, adaptive noise cancellation, and premium audio features, the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX could become an appealing option for Filipino consumers seeking feature-packed wireless earbuds at an accessible price.
