Manila, Philippines — Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), took part in La Liga’s Youth Tournament in Manila, supporting one of Asia’s most exciting grassroots football events focused on promoting sport, community, and camaraderie. Held from November 14 to 16 at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium, the tournament brought together more than 7,000 young players, families, and coaches for three days of competition, community spirit, and youth development.

Bitget’s presence centered on creating a welcoming space for parents and children through its Blockchain4Youth initiative. The booth featured a simple penalty shoot-out activity where kids could unwind between matches, with successful attempts rewarded with complimentary refreshments and La Liga x Bitget branded items. For many families, it became an easy meeting point, offering shade, water, and moments of fun amid a packed tournament schedule.

The event was designed purely around community value. Bitget chose to support an event that was centered around discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, qualities that are closely related to the company's long-standing youth empowerment initiatives, rather than showcasing products or platforms. Across the weekend, the booth drew long lines of young participants, reinforcing the tournament's festive atmosphere while creating positive touchpoints with parents and local football communities.

Black Shrew Esports Crowned Winners of the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship, Jakarta

JAKARTA, INDONESIA, October 2024 –- Black Shrew Esports (BSE) are the winners of the 2024 Honor of Kings Championship, Jakarta, after defeating Dominator Esports (DMT) in the grand finals at Lippo Mall Kemang. As champions, BSE claimed USD 300,000 of the USD 1M prize pool and earned the right to be called the best Honor of Kings team in the world. The grand final between BSE and DMT was the culmination of an intense series of matches over the past month that saw the world’s 16 best Honor of Kings teams go head-to-head for a chance to be crowned the world champion of the 2024 Honor of Kings Invitational Series.

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship has given Honor of Kings fans high-stakes action and world-class tactical battles. The Group Stage saw Dominator Esports, Nova Esports, Team Secret and Fearless Esports top the upper bracket. However, nothing is certain in Honor of Kings and the knockout stage saw BSE defeated DMT with 3:1 in the upper bracket, and DMT came back and defeated Team Secret with 3:2 in the lower bracket. The final was again between BSE and DMT, which respectively represent the best teams from Malaysia and Indonesia. In the end, BSE came out on top, and Musanking from BSE was named MVP following his outstanding performance. 

The 2024 Honor of Kings Championship is the final event this year in what has been a truly remarkable year for Honor of Kings esports. This season has been packed with thrilling tournaments, and unforgettable moments and showed that Honor of Kings is committed to growing Honor of Kings esports around the globe following its announcement of the Honor of Kings Invitational Series earlier this year.

A Year in Review: The Honor of Kings Invitational Series 

The Honor of Kings Invitational Series kicked off this year with the Invitational Season 1 in Istanbul, Türkiye, where Vivo Keyd Stars claimed victory. The excitement continued in June with Invitational Season 2 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where LGD Malaysia triumphed. Then, in August, the inaugural Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, set a new standard for global competition, with the KPL Dream Team taking first place. These events culminated with the Honor of Kings Championship, Jakarta where Black Shrew Esports took home the grand prize and title of the annual Champion of Honor of Kings global esports in 2024.

Honor of Kings featuring in Prime Video’s Secret Level

On October 19, Prime Video revealed the cast and key art for its highly anticipated adult-animated anthology series Secret Level during New York Comic-Con. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, Secret Level features original stories set in some of the world’s most beloved video game universes and boasts a legendary cast.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang All Star Showdown 2022 sees top PH players compete with gamers from other SEA countries

Expect exciting games and bountiful prizes as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) mounts The All-Star Showdown 2022. It will be five days of intense action as the Domestic Stage takes place on May 7^th – 8^th while the International Stage will be held on May 13^th – 15^th with daily matches starting at 4 PM (Philippine time).  The tournament series will see some of the Philippines' best and most popular streamers like ChooxTV, Akosi Dogie, and Onepipti battle top gamers from other countries.

Part of the 515 M-World event, the All-Star Showdown 2022 marks the first time that an MLBB Philippine All-Star squad will play against other All-Star teams from five other Southeast Asian countries, namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Singapore. Popular actress Sue Ramirez will serve as the star manager of the Philippine team in the MLBB All-Star Showdown.

Fans Have Power to Vote Teams for All Star Showdown

The MLBB All Star Showdown 2022 will kick off with the Philippine Domestic Stage followed by the Southeast Asia Group Stage and finally, the Southeast Asia Grand Final.

Forty (40) Filipino All Star players will be divided into eight teams of five players, but only four teams will be chosen to compete in the domestic leg of the tournament; the four teams will be chosen via the All Star Voting Phase, which will happen from April 29 to May 4. Fans are highly encouraged to open the MLBB app and vote in-game for their favorite teams to play in the All Star Showdown.

The four teams to get the most votes will advance to the tournament leg of the showdown on May 7 and May 8.

All Star Showdown Format

For the domestic leg of the MLBB All Star Showdown 2022, four teams will be divided into two groups. Each team will play against one another in three games within their respective groups with the winners advancing to the upper bracket and the losers moving to the lower bracket; the top team to emerge from each bracket will compete in the domestic leg’s final round to determine the overall winner of the domestic leg of the All Star Showdown.

The domestic stage winner will represent the country as the Philippine national team in the tournament’s international stage of the MLBB All Star Showdown 2022.

For the international stage, the six national teams will be divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. The teams in the two groups will play a round robin-style. The top two teams to emerge from each group will enter the semifinals. The teams will then compete against each other in a best-of-three game.

The semifinal winners will battle each other in the Southeast Asia Grand Finals on May 15, where the teams will play a best-of-three game to determine the champion of the MLBB All Star Showdown 2022.
