Tenable to Bring Claude Mythos 5 into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform

APAC — Tenable® Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TENB), the exposure management company, today announced it is bringing Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 directly into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. As adversaries use AI to move faster and operate at greater scale, defenders need equally advanced capabilities to stay ahead. This integration between Tenable and Mythos 5 will bring frontier cyber reasoning into Tenable One, enabling a new generation of AI-powered capabilities across exposure management.

This step marks an expansion of Tenable’s existing work with Anthropic through Project Glasswing, moving from securing Tenable code and infrastructure to the availability of Claude Mythos 5 within Tenable One. The first innovation planned in this expanded work will be Tenable One Adversary View, a new capability that uses Claude Mythos 5 to help security teams discover hidden attack paths and how to best remediate them. Adversary View is expected to be available to initial customers in September, with additional innovations planned for Q4 and beyond.

Security teams already have enormous amounts of information about their environments. The challenge is identifying how seemingly unrelated exposures combine to create a dangerous attack path. Teams must then determine which paths present the greatest risk and find the most effective way to break the chain. Claude Mythos 5 brings advanced cyber reasoning to these problems at the speed and scale these environments demand.

Adversary View will complement Tenable One’s existing exposure prioritization and attack path analysis. It analyzes exposure data Tenable already collects to reconstruct how an attacker could move from an initial point of access toward critical systems. It then shows the evidence behind each step and provides guidance on the specific remediation that could break the path.

Mobile Internet Keeps Southeast Asia’s Remote Work Hubs Connected, but Fixed Broadband Tells a Different Story

Southeast Asia continues to strengthen its position as a hub for digital nomads and remote workers, with Ookla’s latest report highlighting generally strong mobile connectivity across the region’s popular destinations. While mobile networks are proving increasingly capable, the report also reveals important differences in fixed broadband reliability and Wi-Fi technology.

Among the 13 destinations measured, Da Nang, Vietnam, recorded the fastest median mobile download speed at 215.56 Mbps. At the other end of the range, Cebu in the Philippines posted 55.48 Mbps. Despite the gap, mobile performance remains broadly satisfactory for remote work. Median download speeds increased in 12 of the 13 destinations over the past year, indicating continued improvements in mobile network performance.

The expansion of 5G availability is another positive development. Availability increased across all 13 destinations, ranging from an impressive 83.8% in Phuket, Thailand, to 40.0% in Penang, Malaysia. However, greater access to 5G has not necessarily translated into more consistent performance. The share of 5G samples meeting the benchmark of at least 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload declined in seven destinations.

Network stability also deserves attention. Mobile jitter remained below the 30 ms threshold that Microsoft Teams considers poor for video calls in every destination. Da Nang recorded the lowest jitter at just 7 ms, while Cebu had the highest at 18 ms. However, jitter increased year over year in 11 of the 13 destinations, suggesting that connection stability could become a growing concern for remote professionals.

Fixed broadband is where the differences between destinations become much more pronounced. Singapore led with a median download speed of 447.75 Mbps, while Jakarta, Indonesia, recorded 60.33 Mbps. Reliability can also vary significantly. Chiang Mai, Thailand, for example, delivered a 258.50 Mbps median speed, but only 65.7% of fixed samples achieved the 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload benchmark.

Finally, Wi-Fi remains an important part of the remote-work equation. A fast fixed connection can still result in a poor experience if the local Wi-Fi network is outdated. Singapore stands out, with 34.4% of reported Wi-Fi connections using Wi-Fi 7—7.5 times the share of the next ASEAN destination. Meanwhile, legacy Wi-Fi 4 remains common in Jakarta and Bali, accounting for 42.7% and 41.9% of connections, respectively.

Overall, the findings show that Southeast Asia remains well-positioned for remote work, but speed, consistency, reliability, and Wi-Fi technology all matter when choosing a destination.

Former Icelandic Minister Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir Joins Fenris Creations to Lead New AI Partnerships

REYKJAVÍK, Iceland – Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir, Iceland’s former Minister of Justice and former Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, has joined Fenris Creations, formerly CCP Games, as Senior Director, AI Partnerships. In the role, she will lead the company's work with AI laboratories, universities, policymakers, and strategic partners on a new research initiative involving EVE Frontier.

Fenris Creations has spent the last several months developing the initiative to test a bold hypothesis: that persistent virtual worlds like EVE Frontier, underpinned by real social and economic systems, can offer a live proving ground for advanced AI before it becomes a greater part of our everyday lives.

Rather than relying solely on short-lived simulations that end and reset, the aim is to create a place where autonomous agents can be observed in a real, open and evolving economy, alongside real people, with real consequences, within the kind of dynamic system the company's games are uniquely able to provide.

The EVE Universe is particularly well-suited to this work. For more than two decades, it has developed as a living virtual economy, encompassing trade, production chains, currencies, commodity markets, alliances, conflict, cooperation, betrayal and loss, shaped by hundreds of thousands of real participants and all the unpredictable behavior that comes with them. Unlike chess or Go, the world has no end state: mistakes stay made, debts stay owed, relationships persist, and reputation follows you. That makes it one of the very few places where the behavior of autonomous systems can be studied under conditions that resemble a real society and a real economy, with all the irrational, emotional, and unpredictable reactions that real people bring with them.

In EVE Frontier, the new chapter of the EVE universe, autonomous AI systems will be studied within EVE Frontier’s live, open-ended world as they set goals, respond to change, and make coherent sequences of decisions over extended periods. Athena’s quiz, study guide, and coaching prompts are designed to align with the specific material students are expected to master.
Designed to support educator confidence

Consistent with its philosophy of collaborative product design, Instructure is co-creating Project Athena alongside its customers. As one example of institutional partnership, Hinds Community College, the largest community college in Mississippi, will provide Athena to all 7,000 of its students this fall after a successful pilot this spring.

“Office hours and a tutoring center can only stretch so far. We wanted every student to have support whenever they needed it,” said Brandon Mitchell, Director of Instructional Design and Technology at Hinds College. “If that keeps even a fraction of our 7,000 students in a course they might have dropped, that's a completion and retention impact we can't ignore.”

Student feedback gathered during the project’s development has indicated that instructor support influenced students' comfort with using an AI-enabled study tool. Instructure is using that feedback to shape an experience focused on course materials, learning objectives, and study practices intended to strengthen understanding. The approach will give educators greater clarity about the tool's purpose and give students clearer expectations, while supporting institutional guidelines for responsible AI use.

Student conversations are never used to train external models, and students will retain ownership of the data they create in Athena. Athena will access Canvas course information through a read-only connection governed by the student’s existing permissions, so it can only retrieve information the student is authorized to view. Instructure serves as a FERPA-designated school official when handling education records on behalf of participating institutions.
